Do you remember S.W.A.L.K? I can actually remember being at school, back in the 80’s when they had the ‘Valentine’s Post’, during registration and Valentine’s cards being handed out with S.W.A.L.K written on the back of them.  When I found out it stood for ‘sealed with a loving kiss’ I thought it was so quirky and wished I had a card to post so I could write it on the envelope. I remember the massive, oversized, red envelopes and occasionally a gift being received at school. I was never a recipient, which is probably why I remember it all so clearly.

I am definitely an old romantic at heart.

My S.W.A.L.K stud earrings are that very kiss (X) and I added the tiniest hand cut heart ever to the top of it, just to add a smidge more love.  The X has been cut out of 1.5mm thick sterling silver sheet and measures 10mm x 8mm.  Each stud earring weighs 1.1g (including the scroll/butterfly). To make every pair identical the master has been cast in sterling silver.
