I have wanted to make silver hoop earrings with interchangeable charms for a long time.  I am planning on making a collection of charms for these chunky hoops so that they can suit your mood or outfit for the day. I figured the perfect base charm would be my little signature heart stamp pebble.

The hoop itself is made out of chunky 2.5mm thick solid sterling silver wire (the same wire I use for a skinny bangle). The widest diameter ofthe hoop is approximately 18mm and weighs approximately 1.7g.  I have flattened/flared the bottom end to so the charms don’t come off the end. After a few practice attempts I decided this wasn’t enough, as the charms are handmade and may have a wider bail when bought seperately, so I have added a little silver ball detail too. Those charms won’t be going anywhere now!

The little heart stamp pebble has a bail added to the top to pop the hoop through The total weight of each hoop with the charm, including the post and butterfly fitting, is 4.2g.
