GDPR Information

Here at Silverpickle I take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide services you have requested from me. At no point will I use your personal information to contact you for the purposes of marketing, offers, services or competitions that I provide. I would also like to state that I will not pass your personal details on to any third party. I do not collect any personal or banking details through e-commerce and all personal information is held and protected by the financial payment gateway company who have their own GDPR policy.

When Placing an Order With Silverpickle

**Please allow for slightly longer despatch and delivery times during Covid 19.  I am limiting my trips to the Post Office to reduce risk and this may cause some delays** 

Leaving a note for me at checkout telling me that you need your order in two days or for a date that is sooner than my advised despatch time will not get your order out any faster as I work through my orders as they come in.  Most items take approximately 7 days but this will be longer during busy times such as Christmas.

Every piece of jewellery I make is made by hand (by my hands) meaning that no two pieces will be identical, this is part of the beauty of handmade jewellery, and it means it will take a bit longer for you to receive your order. Please keep this in mind when ordering from Silverpickle. Hearts and charms are hand cut using a saw and some items are textured by hand so please allow for some variations from what you see in the photographs. This also includes the colour of semi-precious stones as slight variations and inclusions can occur.  Some items, like certain semi-precious stones or specific gauges of gold or silver may not be in stock and will require ordering. This will mean that the order to delivery time might be a bit longer for certain custom made items but I will inform you of this before you place your order.

Postage Information

For all UK orders – I use ‘special next day delivery’ for all my jewellery as this is the only way that jewellery is insured by the Royal Mail.  Special delivery ensures that all items are tracked/signed fort and you will receive a tracking number once your item is on its way.  

For orders from the rest of the world – these will be posted via airmail and postage costs have been set to cover all countries.  Depending on the country being sent to your item will be either tracked, signed for or sometimes both.  Any customs charges will be the responsibility of the recipient.  

Your Silverpickle order will be sweetly packaged up in a Silverpickle gift box, tied with ribbon, or, for some smaller items, wrapped in tissue paper inside a Silverpickle organic cotton pouch.  The majority of orders will be posted out within 7 days of ordering.  However, during busy times of the year such as Christmas, this time may be longer.


Payment is made, in full, on ordering.  I use Paypal and BACS and there is a choice of these at checkout.  

Refunds or Exchanges

My hope, as the sole designer and maker of each and every piece of Silverpickle jewellery, is that you are completely delighted with each and every purchase you make. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or if you have changed your mind about the piece you have ordered please contact me within 14 days of receiving your item. Once you have contacted me we can arrange for you to send back your order, with all the original packaging, in perfect condition, within 28 days of receiving it.

Unfortunately refunds cannot be made for earrings, due to health and hygiene reasons, or for custom made items that have been personalised.

The cost of returning your unwanted item to me is your responsibility and original delivery charges will only be refunded if your item was faulty or damaged.

Please ensure you return your item using Royal Mail Special Delivery as this is the only way that jewellery is insured if it gets lost. Returning any Silverpickle jewellery using any other method of delivery will be at your own risk and I will not be able to complete your refund.

Measuring for a Ring or Bangle

Please refer to my sizing guide in my useful links section.  Sizing is the responsibility of the customer and any alterations will come with a charge so I recommend taking the time to get it right and not to guesstimate.


Personalised and customised pieces of jewellery are non returnable as are earrings.  Please ensure you are happy with the size you have chosen for your piece of Silverpickle jewellery, refer to my sizing guide if unsure.  Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your purchase if you havce ordered the incorrect size.  I allow the month of January for sizing alterations from Christmas orders, anything later will come with an appropriate charge.  Spinning rings are made up of more than one ring and are more tricky to resize, especially when a stone is set on the spinner, more often than not this involves making a new ring and this will be charged for.  All other alterations will come with a charge for my time, if necessary, and the customer will also be responsible for covering both return postage costs.
