If you were to ask me what I thought the colours of Scotland were I would say “Pink, green and purple”.  When I think of the beautiful Scottish scenery, be it at the coast, within the forests or in the deepest parts of the highlands, I see Heather and wild Scotch Thistle bringing pops of purple and pink to a multitude of green tones from all the Pine trees and shrubs.

When I first made my Highland Blossom drop earrings they had a silver ball as the centre but I have since made a number of pairs with gemstones and they are so pretty.  To mimic those scottish colours I have used Peridot, Rhodolite Garnet and Amethyst gemstones and you can select your preferred stone in the drop down box.

The five petal flower measures 15mm x 17mm and is approximately 2mm thick.  The gemstones are 4mm in diameter.  I have added a 1.5mm thick bail for the hook to go through, making the length 23mm and the total drop, from the top of the hook to the bottom of the flower, is 36mm.  The total weight of each earring is 3.1g.
