Spinning Rings were one of my first designs that I listed for reorder.  I love kinetic jewellery and especially the monotonous movement of spinning rings.  My jewellery is always more on the ‘robust’ side and I wanted to create something that was still substantial yet airing on the side of delicate……as delicate as I can muster!

In 2017 I created the Micro Spinning Ring and after a few attempts at getting the final design I felt that, to make this ring a show stopper, it really had to have a 9ct gold bead as the all silver version just didn’t have the same eye catching look.

A solid sterling silver ring, 2mm thick, with a solid 9ct yellow gold slider bead measuring 4mm in diameter and 5mm in length.  The little gold bead rotates and spins round the shiny silver ring simultaneously.  When I wear my Micro Spinner I find that I play with the bead all the time. It doesn’t matter where on your finger (or thumb) the bead sits, it is just really comfortable, almost like it isn’t even there.

There is now an option to order this ring as a slightly chunkier version.  The ring is 2.5mm thick and the 9ct gold slider bead is 4.5mm in diameter and 5mm in length.

Your standard ring size is perfect for this style of ring. If you want a bit more space to fidget go one half size up.
